Volunteers
Dozens of generous individuals donate time and/or services. Currently, over 70 persons volunteer as tutors and in other capacities such as clerical assistance, maintenance of our library, and event assistance.
Interested in volunteering?
Tutoring
We are actively recruiting tutors (high school graduates, 21 years of age and older) and we’d love to have you join us! Our tutors participate in a 21 hour (3 hours per week for 7 weeks) Mercy Bridges training program. They then commit to tutoring one student for two hours per week (for at least one year).
Other Areas
We welcome assistance in other areas including maintaining our resource library, assitance with clerical tasks, grant writing, assessment of students, and events.
