Role of the Advisory Board
The Advisory Board serves as “guardian” of the mission of Mercy Bridges and of the core values of the Sisters of Mercy. As such, members provide experience and guidance to conducting this responsibility. This guidance includes assisting in creating public awareness for recruiting potential students and tutors, advisement on the development of operational procedures and supporting access to community resources. The Advisory Board is viewed as an essential element in enabling, through Mercy Bridges, successful adult literacy service to the community.
Meetings: Quarterly.
Terms: Rotating.
Chair: Elected by the Advisory Board.
